Russel Prophit was an employee of Bruce Plumbing Company from 1976 through 1993.

He started at this company as a laborer in the irrigation division. With his dedication and willingness to learn he quickly moved his way through this company to installer and service technician.

November 1985 Russel completed the irrigation design course at Weathermatic, a division of Telsco Industries and became the designer for our company.

Russel also passed the State Requirement for Irrigation Contractors in bidding projects over $50,000, which allowed Bruce Plumbing to bid on any irrigation project.

I would like to speak on behalf of Russ Prophit and his water management skills and practices. On April 5, 2011, Russ attended a Tucor Factory Training session held in Atlanta.

We started this program in 1995 and currently have over 235 irrigation contractors Factory Trained across the country. The agenda for this program is quite extensive. We review equipment, installation, trouble shooting and controller operation. When the class is completed, each participant must sign off on 53 pages of details and documents confirming their knowledge of Tucor products and procedures for the correct installation, etc.

I have always known Russ to be extremely conscientious, almost to the point of compulsiveness. He has always placed a premium on quality, whether it has been in designing irrigation projects, teaching classes for the Irrigation Association, performing audits or site water management.
